Bike Activities planned by Bikers!
Bikers have always been welcomed to the Blues festival. That tradition will continue in 2017. There will be designated bike parking sponsored by Lawley Toyota, on 12th and Pope Streets, adjacent to Beer & Spirits Pavilion, sponsored by Little Toad Creek Distillery and Brewery. The thrill show and bike show won’t be back this year, but the same great music returns to the park for a 22nd year. Since we are an Arts Council, our focus returns to showcasing music, performing and visual arts. We are lucky to have great partners to continue activities for bikers as the festival continues to grow.
Mimbres Region Arts Council announces a new partnership for 2017. The Bikes portion of the Blues Fest is getting its own music stage, beer garden and activities planned by local Silver City Bikers. Be sure to visit Q’s Southern Bistro, down the street at Pope and College. More bike parking will be available next to Q’s. The Kneeling Nun Bike run will again take place on Saturday May 27, 2017.
