Here is some important information about the main event
at Gough Park on Saturday, May 25th, and Sunday, May 26th 2024.


How do I become a vendor?

The Silver City Blues Festival brings many amazing opportunities for vending. We have three categories of vendors: food and beverage, retail craft, and entertainment. How much does it cost?

The event is free of charge to you, but we rely on your kind donations to keep bringing you this great event year after year. Please consider making a donation this year!


When will the gate open?

The gate will open at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 25th, and at 11:00 am on Sunday, May 26th.


Can I bring a canopy or tent?

Unfortunately, because of the delicate underground sprinkler system in Gough Park, no tents or canopies will be allowed. Please protect yourself with hats and sunscreen.


Where exactly is this event?

The event is traditionally held at Gough Park in Silver City, NM, at the corner of N. Pope and 13th Street.


Is there adequate parking?

Yes, there is plenty of free on-street parking.


Can I bring my kids? dogs/pets?

Kids are encouraged! Any pets, other than service animals, are not allowed in the park during the event. Please check local kennels for daycare services, and do not leave pets in cars. It is going to be hot!


I want to bring a cooler, or beer/alcohol. is that ok?

Beer and cocktails will be sold inside the park, and as per licensing requirements by the State of New Mexico, any outside alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited. There will also be food and beverage vendors throughout the park. You may bring your own food and any non-alcoholic beverages in factory-sealed containers, but no coolers will be allowed entry into the park. No open cups or open containers from businesses outside the park will be allowed either.


Will there be seating?

No chairs are provided, so please bring your own. Space in the park is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please be courteous to other guests and do not use large blankets or groups of chairs to reserve space you will not be using during the festival.

Can I buy food/drinks there?

Yes, there is a food court featuring some of the region’s best fare. A tented seating area is also provided free of charge. Find your favorite festival food or try something new!

What kind of wheelchair access is there?

People with disabilities are always accommodated at our event. The venue is wheelchair-accessible and we will have designated wheelchair areas, parking, and toilets for the handicapped, as well as a designated handicapped parking area.
